How much does a meeting cost?
Multiply the number of people by their average hourly rate and by the length in hours. Eight people at $60 an hour for 45 minutes cost $360.00. Held every week, that is $18,000 a year.
How do I convert a salary to an hourly rate?
Divide the annual salary by 2,080, the hours in a year of 40-hour weeks. A $124,800 salary is $60 an hour. Switch the rate field to “Annual salary” and the calculator does it for you.
Does this include benefits and overhead?
No. It uses salary only. For the fully loaded cost of an employee, including benefits, taxes and office space, multiply the salary by about 1.3 before you enter it.
